YAAP Photographers Recognized in NPPNW Spring Competition

Nature Photographers of the Pacific Northwest (NPPNW) has announced the results of their Spring 2022 digital image competition.

YAAP photographers scored well in the competition held on April 2, 2022. Ten images submitted by six YAAP photographers received first, second, or third place awards in the judging.

• 1st Place wildlife: Swallowtail Caterpillar – Kim Cuc Tran
• 1st Place Plant Life: Cactus Flower – David Martin
• 1st Place Plant Life: Succulent Heart – Kim Cuc Tran
• 2nd Place Plant Life: Heliconia – Kim Cuc Tran
• 2nd Place Plant Life: Stargazer – Mark Svendsen
• 2nd Place Wildlife: Gecko on Ginger – Ted Crego
• 2nd Place Wildlife: The Gift of Nesting Material – Sylvia Hosie
• 3rd Place Scenic: Lone Oak – Dave Cook
• 3rd Place Wildlife: Red Wolf – Mark Svendsen
