February 5 Meeting: Introduction to Light Painting Shooting Techniques and Processing

Gordon Battaile of the Forest Grove Camera Club will be our guest speaker, giving us an informal introduction to shooting and processing images using light painting.  Light painting covers a huge range of tools and techniques, and the presentation will focus on the basics: 

• Using flash and flashlight to light your subjects
• Using other tools to create light sculptures
• Making your own light painting tools
• General tips and techniques for shooting
• Processing using the lighten blending mode
