The theme for photo sharing at the July 5 YAAP meeting is Cell Phone Photos. It’s time to show off your phone skills while taking everyday photos. You may not know that you can download a photo from your cell phone and process it in most post-processing programs. In addition, most cell phones have the ability to take HRD automatically. Cell phone cameras have come far in just a few years and now take photos of impressive quality. Extensive in-phone processing is also possible in many new phones. Another nice thing about cell phone photography is that it is unobtrusive. People use cell phones constantly, in almost any environment, and so taking pictures with one doesn’t stand out.
So go out and catch some shots with good color in the background or the subject itself. Try the inside of a grocery store or farmers’ market. Produce is a great subject. Or how about a fish market, or boats in the harbor? Try a sunset, a hummingbird, or just something new. Process three of these and share at the July 5 club meeting. You’ll have fun.
